We are heading out again this weekend to clear some trail and need your help. Our plan is to clean part of the L107 Dogtooth trail and part of the A East Trail, from Hwy 314 (Highwind Lake Rd) and between Musky Lake and Blindfold Lake.
2 weeks ago, we were able to complete brushing on A East Trail from Witch Bay heading east to beaver swamp before the shelter. Thanks to all those that came out and the awesome job they did to get the trail ready for the season.
If you have a chainsaw/brush saw/pole saw please bring it with you…if not, don’t worry we should have enough to share.
Don’t forget to layer up and bring a dry set of clothing and some food with you.
Date: Sunday, Nov 17th
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Location: Reddens Store on Hwy 17 East
We will all meet at Reddens and then head off as a group.
DON’T FORGET: Your volunteer time is eligible for STR bucks that can be put towards the purchase of you next years permit. $2/hr in STR bucks are paid for trail work done with the STR trail boss….up to a maximum of $180 per year.
Thanks for your support,
The Sunset Trail Riders
