Caution!! L101 Pipeline Work Underway

TransCanada Pipelines are digging test holes on the section of our L101 trail between Ware Eagle Lake and Boyne Lake. Contractors will be in this area starting Feb 18, 2019 doing work with large and small equipment. Please use caution in this area. Due to the hazards associated with these operations and in consideration of the public, these operations may results in possible trail closures, delays, and detours for the existing trail system on the pipeline in the vicinity of these operations.

Caution!! Slush on groomed lake trails.

With all the snow that has fallen in the past month, the extra weight on the ice has brought water up under the snow and can sometimes get turned up by snowmobiles or groomers on the trail.  Always be cautious on the trails, even recently groomed ones.

TransCanada Pipelines are performing brushing on the section of our A East pipeline trail between Hwy 17 crossing (near Willard Lake) to Stewart Lake and west of Foot Lake to parking area south of Twin Lakes. Contractors will be in this area starting Jan 21, 2019 doing brushing with large and small equipment. Please use caution in this area. Due to the hazards associated with mechanical brushing operations and in consideration of the public, these operations may results in possible trail closures, delays, and detours for the existing trail system on the pipeline in the vicinity of these operations.

Some trails are passable for marginal snowmobiling; some trails may be unavailable, so extra caution is advised.

Trails are available to snowmobiles with valid permits to enter at their own risk.
